Abilene Sports Alliance: Are You Ready for Some Football?

The Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau established the Abilene Sports Alliance to promote sports events and activities that would bring the best in Texas to Abilene. Your interest in our GoFridayNight.com Champions Classic indicates we are achieving that goal.

The future for a wide variety of sports events is very exciting. Abilene is a great site for sporting events. Abilene is centrally located to many cities in Texas and offers great facilities for sporting events of all types.

One of the primary goals for the Sports Alliance is awarding college scholarships to graduating senior student-athletes. To date, $22,000 in scholarships has been awarded. Proceeds from this event will allow the Sports Alliance to increase that support of higher education for our local school student-athletes. The Sports Alliance has more than 300 hard-working community volunteers.
